English: A still from a short movie shot by Alexandre Promio, showing the activity on Puerta del Sol, in Madrid. Filmed between June 12-17 1896. The film had a public screening in Mâcon, France, on July 2nd 1896, under the title "Puerta del Sol (Madrid)" (reported in Le Journal de Saône et Loire, July 2nd 1896).
Français : Image provenant d'un film réalisé par Alexandre Promio, montrant l'activité sur la place Puerta del Sol, à Madrid. Tourné entre le 12-17 juin 1896. Le film fut projeté à Mâcon, le 2 juillet 1896, sous le titre "Puerta del Sol (Madrid)" (selon le Journal de Saône et Loire, 2 juillet 1896).
