Diaphus dumerilii és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.

Morfologia[modifica]

Depredadors[modifica]

A Namíbia és depredat per Merluccius capensis i Merluccius paradoxus,[6] al Brasil per Zenopsis conchifera i Illex argentinus,[7] i a Mèxic per Astronesthes similus.[8]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí i d'aigües subtropicals que viu fins als 805 m de fondària.[4][9]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a l'Atlàntic, incloent-hi les Illes Canàries.[10][4][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22]
