[modifica]És depredat per Etelis carbunculus i Etelis coruscans.[7][8]
Hàbitat
[modifica]És un peix marí, tropical i bentopelàgic que viu entre 180 i 380 m de fondària.[5][9]
Distribució geogràfica
[modifica]Es troba al Pacífic oriental central: les illes Hawaii.[5][10]
Observacions
[modifica]És inofensiu per als humans.[5]
