Español: Monseñor Valerio Antonio Jiménez Hoyos, nacido en Marinilla el 29 de enero de 1806; y quien mas adelante tomaría posesión el 8 de diciembre de 1868 como primer obispo de Medellín y Antioquia y primer obispo nacido en Marinilla (Ant) en donde murió en diciembre de 1891.
