Els popups es carreguen després del (-navpop.css) i les traduccions (-popups-strings-ca.js) per poder previsualitzar el contingut de l'article. A hores d'ara hem de tenir el nostre mòdul dels popups per poder veure als canvis recents les contribucions d'un usuari anònim. S'ha comunicat al Lupin la necessitat d'introduir un canvi al seu codi, però encara no ha donat cap resposta ni ha implementat la suggerència. Proposal for GoogleTrans gadget

Hi there,

Sorry about the English.

I have made a GoogleTrans gadget which has been on the enwiki for around a year now. It is also on 10 other wikipedias including the Spanish (an early version) and the Portuguese.

It functions like the Google toolbar translation feature. When you position the cursor over a word in a webpage and hit the SHIFT key, the Google translation of that word (or of selected text < 500 characters) appears in a popup below the cursor.

It really works well for people who have intermediate Catalan as they can easily look up a word they don't know (every 2 or 3 sentences). This is how I use the tool to read French and Spanish webpages. However, the person who knows no Catalan (like me) can simply select a sentence or two and have it translated as well. In each popup there is a link to Google Translation Services. If you click on this link then the whole page is translated.

ReferenceTooltips dependencies outdated

Apologies for writing in English. Please can you update the dependencies for this module to match enwiki to avoid it throwing bugs?

Adaptació UKBot

Hola, amb en Joutbis hem adaptat l'UKBot (aquí es diu Threepbot) per la Viquipèdia en català. Es tracta d'un bot que permet organitzar concursos fàcilment, i que tenim hostejat a Toolforge. El darrer pas per acabar de facilitar la participació a aquests concursos és afegir un botó que permet inscriure's al concurs amb un sol clic (exemple a la Viquipèdia en basc). Per acabar-ho d'instal·lar aquí, caldria que un administrador de la interfície (@KRLS, Vriullop, SMP, Arnaugir:) fes el següent:

• copiés el contingut de Usuari:Townie/Ukens konkurranse.js a MediaWiki:Ukens konkurranse.js
• copiés el contingut de Usuari:Townie/Gadget-UkensKonkurranse.js a MediaWiki:Gadget-UkensKonkurranse.js
• afegís el següent codi a la secció "browsing-gadgets" d'aquesta pàgina: UkensKonkurranse[ResourceLoader|type=general|default|dependencies=mediawiki.util]|UkensKonkurranse.js

Pel que entenc només funcionarà en subpàgines de Viquiprojecte:Concursos que ara mateix ni tan sols existeix, de manera que quan un altre viquiprojecte vulgui fer un concurs hi haurà de crear una subpàgina? En qualsevol cas si s'han de fer modificacions a algun dels dos fitxers javascript, demaneu-ho a la pàgina de discussió corresponent. --SMP​ (+ disc. xat) 14:24, 25 nov 2020 (CET)

Nova versió UKBot

@KRLS, Vriullop, SMP, Arnaugir:Hola, he detectat que el giny per inscriure's als concurs té un problema. En alguns casos no detecta bé la secció de Participants, i afegeix el participant al primer encapçalament. No ho havíem detectat fins ara perquè en els concursos que s'organitzaven, els participants apareixien justament al primer encapçalament. Ho he comentat amb la gent de Wikimedia Noruega, perquè l'autor del bot està molt enfeinat amb altres coses i s'ha anat desvinculant del projecte, però ho ha traspassat al chapter noruec. Ells m'han dit que ja ho havien detectat i que s'arregla amb una nova versió, que ara mateix tinc a Usuari:Joutbis/Ukens konkurranse.js. La podeu copiar sobre MediaWiki:Ukens konkurranse.js?
