Benthosema panamense és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.
Morfologia

[modifica]És ovípar amb larves i ous planctònics.[5]
Depredadors
[modifica]És depredat per Stenella attenuata.[6][7]
Hàbitat
[modifica]És un peix marí i d'aigües tropicals.[4]
Distribució geogràfica
[modifica]Es troba al nord-est del Pacífic (entre 28°N i 10°N, incloent-hi el Golf de Califòrnia[8]).[9][4][10]
