Scartelaos histophorus és una espècie de peix de la família dels gòbids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia

Hàbitat

És un peix de clima tropical i demersal.[4]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des del Pakistan fins al Japó i Austràlia, incloent-hi la zona de marees d'aigua dolça del riu Mekong.[4][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24]

Observacions

És inofensiu per als humans[4] i capaç de respirar aire.[25]
