Descripció

[modifica]Menja crustacis (sobretot, amfípodes).[6]
Depredadors
[modifica]És depredat pel lluç europeu (Merluccius merluccius).[7][8]
Hàbitat
[modifica]És un peix marí, demersal i de clima subtropical (35°N-21°N) que viu entre 60-596 m de fondària (normalment, entre 60 i 200).[4][9][10]
Distribució geogràfica
[modifica]Es troba a l'Atlàntic oriental, incloent-hi la Mediterrània occidental.[4]
Observacions
[modifica]És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
