Megarcys signata és una espècie d'insecte plecòpter pertanyent a la família dels perlòdids.[6]

Hàbitat

En el seu estadi immadur és aquàtic i viu a l'aigua dolça, mentre que com a adult és terrestre i volador.[7]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Nord-amèrica: el Canadà (la Colúmbia Britànica,[8] el Territoris del Nord-oest i el Yukon)[9] i els Estats Units (Alaska, Colorado,[10][11][12][13][14] Idaho,[15] Montana,[16][17][18][19] Nou Mèxic,[20] Nevada, Utah[21][22][23] i Wyoming), incloent-hi les muntanyes Rocoses,[24] la serralada de les Cascades i les muntanyes de la Costa.[25][4][26][27][28][29][30][7][31][32][33][34]
