Nibea soldado és una espècie de peix de la família dels esciènids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.
Morfologia

[modifica]Menja peixets i invertebrats.[1]
Hàbitat
[modifica]És un peix de clima tropical (22°N-23°S, 72°E-149°E) i demersal que viu fins als 40 m de fondària.[1]
Distribució geogràfica
[modifica]Es troba des de l'Índia i Sri Lanka fins a Queensland (Austràlia), Nova Guinea i el Vietnam,[3] incloent-hi la conca inferior del riu Mekong.[4][1][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22]
Ús comercial
[modifica]Es comercialitza fresc i en salaó.[1]
Observacions
[modifica]És inofensiu per als humans.[1]
